Privacy Policy

Bayview Properties Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.

What we collect

Enquiry and valuation request forms: your name, contact details, postal address, and the property information you choose to share. Private client portal: the email address approved for document access and a record of activations and downloads. Technical data: we store one-way hashes (not the raw values) of IP addresses and browser identifiers with form submissions to protect the site from abuse; these cannot be reversed into the original values.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver valuation and advisory engagements, provide secure access to reports you are entitled to, and — only where you have expressly opted in — send occasional property updates. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where needed to deliver an engagement you have requested or where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and valuation requests are scheduled for deletion two years after submission. Private download access records are kept while access remains active and are scheduled for deletion two years after they are granted. Formal engagement records (signed reports and related files) are retained in line with professional record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing obligation to keep it. You may withdraw WhatsApp or marketing consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on this website; we respond within a reasonable time.
